Man Sleeping in Car Arrested on Drug Paraphernalia Charge

Rochester Police responded Monday to the area of Ludlow and Ironwood for a report of a man sleeping in his car, according to the department.

Officers arrived to find a 20-year-old Rochester Hills man sleeping in his vehicle, which was parked on the side of the roadway, the department indicated. The officer knocked on the window of the car to check the condition of the driver, who exited the vehicle to speak with the officer, police said. 

As the driver exited his vehicle, police said, an officer noticed drug paraphernalia on the floorboard of the vehicle. The man was arrested on a charge of possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
