Powerball Jackpot Breaks $300M Mark

Nobody won Saturday's Powerball Jackpot. At more than $300 million, it's time to buy a ticket.

Nobody won Saturday’s Powerball jackpot, meaning Wednesday’s jackpot is now officially in the land of ridiculous — some $302 million. The cash payout is $187.3 million. By comparison, former Ford CEO Mark Fields’ golden parachute of about $50 million is chump change.

The jackpot has been growing since someone took home $60 million months ago. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time. The record in the game was a $1.6 billion drawing in January 2016.

The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, May 27 are 5, 10, 28, 55, 67 and a Powerball of 9.
