Reward Offered For Info On Vulgar Graffiti In Neighborhood

Someone targeted this Oakland County neighborhood, spray painting penises and racially-charged words.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident of malicious destruction of property that left racially-charged and vulgar graffiti on residents’ cars and neighborhood. According to police, the incident happened in the 5500 block of Chestnut Hill Drive in Independence Township on July 9. Deputies found several vehicles, street signs and utility boxes had been vandalized.

Swastikas, penises and the term “NiGGFs” were spraypainted in the area and the phrase “P Love Peace.”
A $1,000 reward is being offered for anyone who gives information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible for the crime. All callers can remain anonymous.
