Rochester Hills Man Dies Days After Crash: Sheriff
Investigators said the man suffered a medical emergency while driving.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A Rochester Hills man died Tuesday, three days after he crashed his SUV into a tree, according to the sheriff's office.
The crash happened at 1 p.m. Saturday on West Tienken Road near Bridgestone Drive in Rochester Hills, officials said.
Officials said 46-year-old Pranit Birje was driving a 2020 Nissan Rogue east on West Tienken Road when he lost control of the SUV. The vehicle crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck a tree, officials said.

Birje was taken to a nearby hospital where he died Tuesday, officials said.
Witnesses told officials that the SUV had crossed the centerline multiple times before the crash, officials said.
