Rochester Hills Man Revived After Being Given Naloxone: Sheriff

Oakland County Sheriff's Office deputies revived a man Saturday by giving him two doses of Naloxone.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Saturday used Naloxone to revive a 33-year-old man who was not conscious and not breathing, authorities said.

Deputies said that they, along with crews from the Rochester Hills Fire Department, responded to the 20 block of Village Circle around 10:22 a.m. Saturday following the report that a man was found not breathing.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the man and administered two doses of Naloxone, the sheriff's office said. The man regained consciousness afterward, officials said. Fire officials then took over treatment, and paramedics transported the man to Troy Beaumont Hospital for additional treatment, according to the sheriff's office.

Family members said the man had a history of substance abuse, authorities said.
