Officials said the event is the primary fundraiser for the local non-profit, which supports student learning in Rochester Community Schools through scholarships, school grants and enrichment programs.

"Over the past 20 years, the Hometown Hustle has contributed more than $650,000 to support academics, arts and athletics for Rochester Community Schools students," said Joann Beydoun, RCS Foundation director. "We are fortunate to have such generous community partners who value education and invest in our children for a bright future."

Chief Financial Credit Union will serve as the main sponsor for the event.

"We are proud to once again be the presenting sponsor of the Hometown Hustle as we celebrate 20 incredible years of this event," said Tom Dluzen, Chief Financial Credit Union president and CEO. "The race begins and ends right here at our Chief headquarters, and it continues to be a highlight of our year."
