Rochester Hosts Dancin' In The Street Event
The event will feature live music and a TasteFest from local eateries.

ROCHESTER, MI — There will be some swingin’ and swayin’ in Downtown Rochester next month at the annual Dancin’ in the Street. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday, July 12. Residents are invited to bring the family to enjoy live music featuring the band SpaceCat as well as a TasteFest from local Rochester eateries.
"We love being a part of the Downtown Rochester Community," said Kevin Stewart, owner of Stewart Team Real Estate Partners. "Dancin' in the Street is a fantastic opportunity to participate in great music and great company. It's always fun meeting up with friends for Downtown events, as well as unexpectedly running into people in the community.”
To keep everyone energized throughout Dancin’ in the Street, Downtown Rochester restaurants will be featured in a TasteFest. TasteFest participants are Rochester Mills Beer Co., D’Marcos Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, O’Connor’s Public House, and Dessert Oasis and others.

“We are committed to this community, and when we are given the opportunity to pour into it, we take it," added Stewart, who is the presenting sponsor of the event. "By sponsoring events like this, we are able to give back to the community which has given so much to us. I think events hosted by the DDA for the community are one of the major reasons people choose to make Rochester their home - it's a community which values its citizens, and we are so grateful to be a part of it."
