Rochester Plans Farm-to-Table Dinner
The summer event will be held on July 23. The dinner menu looks amazing!

ROCHESTER, MI — Rochester residents can enjoy delicious food and help raise money for downtown events by attending the summer Farm-to-Table Dinner event on July 23. The dinner will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Walnut Boulevard between Second and Third streets.
Tickets are $100 per person and include a three-course dinner, wine and entertainment. The Meeting House restaurant is working in partnership with Rochester’s Downtown Development Authority to stage the event.
The menu features chilled sweet corn soup, chicken breast paillard, char grilled local rainbow trout, saffron basmati rice, fresh breads and rolls, blueberry pie and lemon pound cake with grilled peaches and honey. The dinner will be served family style. Assorted Michigan wines and beers will also be available.

“I can’t tell you how excited we are at The Meeting House to be a part of this Farm-to-Table Dinner, it’s really what we base our menus on every day”, stated Chris Johnson, owner and Executive Chef of The Meeting House. “I’m happy to bring attention to our awesome downtown and to the farmers that are the lifeblood of our restaurants. And when else can you close down a road to serve dinner for 100 people? I can’t wait!”
