Rochester Woman Reports $450 in Fraudulent Debit Card Purchases

A Rochester resident on July 25 reported unauthorized purchases made on her debit card totaling $450, according to Rochester Police.

The woman told police she was unable to locate the card and was alerted to the transactions via text messages from her financial institution. According to the report, there were five purchases made on the card.

According to the report, the woman is working with detectives to identify a possible suspect and are checking locations where the card was used for surveillance footage. The investigation is ongoing.
