-Nov. 25 at 1:30 a.m.: A Rochester officer was on patrol in the area of University and Walnut when he observed a SUV complete an improper turn. The officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, a 23-year-old Shelby Twp. woman. The officer noticed signs that the driver had been drinking and overserved field sobriety testing. The woman failed the offered test and was taken back to the Rochester Police Department for further testing. She submitted to a breath test with results of .20% BAC, she was released when sober. A court date is pending.
-Nov. 27 at 10:30 a.m.: A Rochester officer was on patrol in the area of University and Helen and observed a vehicle with an improper plate. The officer stopped the car and made contact with the driver, a 53-year-old Rochester man. The officer noticed signs that there was marijuana in the vehicle, the driver was asked to step out of the car and the officers recovered a small amount of suspected marijuana. The man was arrested and booked at the Rochester Police Department and was later released with a misdemeanor citation.

-Nov. 29 at 2:30 a.m.: A Rochester Officer was enforcing speed on Main near University. The officer observed a vehicle with an equipment infraction and made a traffic stop near Main and Olde Towne. The officer made contact with the driver, a 53-year-old Leonard man. The officer ran a license check and found that the driver’s license was suspended for unpaid traffic tickets. The driver was arrested and booked at the Rochester Police Department and later released with a misdemeanor citation.
