The 14th annual event is a treasured tradition that celebrates fitness, families, and the community. It is the principal fundraiser for the RCS Foundation, which enhances educational opportunities for all Rochester Community Schools students through contributions to academics, arts and athletics.

“The Hometown Hustle brings community members of all ages together to enjoy the picturesque race route that runs through the historic neighborhoods of Downtown Rochester, the Rochester Municipal Park and the Paint Creek and Clinton River Trails,” said RCS Foundation Chairman Bob Justin. “Last year, the Hometown Hustle attracted more than 1,300 participants!”

"Part of what makes the Rochester area so strong is the incredible investment in the schools. The RCS Foundation Hometown Hustle is a fun way to support students and meet the community. We are thrilled once again to be the presenting sponsor to kick off the Hometown Hustle right here at our Rochester headquarters," said Chief Financial President and CEO Tom Dluzen. "Seeing hundreds of people gather to support the schools is inspiring. The Chief Financial team is looking forward to 'hustling' alongside residents, teachers, local leaders and supporters."

“Local families, businesses, and community partners contribute to the success of the Hometown Hustle,” said RCS Foundation Director Lori Grein. “We are truly honored to be partnering with our presenting sponsor, Chief Financial Credit Union, and other patrons who recognize the value of supporting our schools. We also appreciate our families who come together, year after year, to show their RCS pride. Together, we can continue to do great things for our students.”

All are welcome to participate in the Hometown Hustle, including competitive racers, walkers, children and families with strollers. Use this link to view a short video from the 2018 event or got to: https://bit.ly/2WicNzQ.
