Salvation Army To Distribute Boxes Of Food Wednesday
The food boxes contain enough nutrition to feed an adult for nearly seven days of meals, the Salvation Army said.
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit - Farmington Hills Corps is distributing 1,000 food boxes to help feed family impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
Volunteers will be handing out prepackaged food boxes using a drive-thru distribution system at the Corps Community Center in Farmington Hills, 27500 Shiawassee St. in Farmington Hills from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The food boxes contain enough nutrition to feed an adult for nearly seven days of meals, the Salvation Army said in a news release. Households in need of food are encouraged to attend.

There will be pre-screened staff/volunteers at the event, and all individuals will remain at a safe distance of six feet wearing masks and gloves, the Salvation Army said.
