Students Design Artwork For Rochester Christmas Cards
These young artists will see their work highlighted this year for Rochester's Big, Bright Light Show Christmas cards.

ROCHESTER, MI — Some of the community's youngest artists are having their creations put in a special spotlight.
The Rochester Downtown Development Authority recently selected artwork from students at Hampton Elementary School to be used for the 2019 Big, Bright Light Show Christmas Cards. The fifth-grade students included Joelle Gadoua, Gain Kim, Lilly Najor and Hanna Park.
The program was spearheaded by Hampton Elementary School Art Teacher Hollie Dooley, with all students submitting artwork for consideration, organizers said.

Recipients were recognized by DDA Chairman Mark Albrecht and given a certificate in recognition of their artwork selection.
The DDA plans to use the artwork to create a set of Big, Bright Light Show Christmas Cards, featuring all four designs in each pack of 20 cards. The cards will be available for sale in November 2019.
