Teen Breaks Into Rochester Hills Home: Police
A 17-year-old Orchard Lake teen is behind bars after Rochester Hills homeowners reportedly caught him in their home.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A teen from Orchard Lake was arrested in Rochester Hills over the weekend for a reported home invasion. Police say the 17-year-old man broke into the home in the 600 block of Lake Ridge Road around 2:44 p.m. Saturday.
A homeowner reported hearing someone in the house and called 911; the teen fled but was apprehended by police as he was walking to his car.
The teen is reportedly an acquaintance of the family and believed they were all out of town, according to the police report.
