Teens Robbed At Gunpoint In Rochester Hills: Police

Police say the teens were walking on a Clinton River trail when the incident occurred Tuesday evening.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Three teens were robbed of their cellphones and wallets on a Clinton River trail in Rochester Hills Tuesday evening, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. The teens, two from Troy and one from Rochester Hills, told deputies they were walking when three people approached them on bicycles.

Police reports said one of the suspects allegedly showed them the butt of a gun, which was concealed in his front pocket. The teens complied with the suspects’ demands and were uninjured.

The incident occurred north of Hamlin Road, just west of Crooks Road at about 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, reports said. Oakland County deputies did a thorough sweep of the area after the incident, but were unable to find the suspects. The case has been turned over to detectives for further investigation.

As for the suspects, one is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, with tattoos on his arms and neck. Reports said he is approximately 6-feet 2-inches tall with a thin build, wearing black shorts and shirt.

The second suspect is described as a white male, about 5-7, an average build with curly blonde hair, a light goatee, and wearing a white hat, baggy shorts and shirt. The third suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 14-15 years of age, with long brown hair, a light skin complexion and was wearing black leggings.
