Top 5 Best Burger Joints In Rochester Hills
Almost everyone loves a good burger. Here are five restaurants in Rochester Hills to give a try.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — If water is the universal drink, a good burger must be the elemental food. Think about it. How many people do you know that really don’t like a good burger?
With that in mind, we went to the online review site Yelp to find out just which restaurants in Dearborn make the best hamburgers. Now, this is a truly unscientific method, we know. So, if your favorite is left off of this list, use the comment section of Patch to tell us about that restaurant and what makes its’ burger great.
- Clubhouse BFD - 2265 Crooks Road. Rated as Rochester Hills top burger destination, Clubhouse BFD rated four out of five stars on Yelp. “BFD is one of my favorite beer spots in Rochester Hills,” wrote Brendan S. of Rochester in a March 21 review on Yelp. He gave the restaurant five stars. “My favorite food option is definitely the burger with the pretzel and they also have amazing appetizers during their happy hour.”
- Burgrz - 3204 Walton Road. Also given an overall mark of four stars, a lot of reviews we looked at read like this one from Corina M of Rochester on May 25, 2017. “Super fast and amazing! I don't think I've ever been disappointed coming here,” she wrote. “Everyone is super nice and cares about their job! I got the blue cheese burger and sweet potato fries and it's was all perfect. They have some of the best fries I've ever had don't forget your spicy ketchup! My burger was well put together and stayed together the entire time!”
- Smashburger - 205 S. Livernois. After 24 reviews, Smashburgers has an overall rating of four stars. “This place has a awesome burger! Have been there a handful of times the burger is always hot and tasty,” wrote Brandon U. of Rochester Hills in a Feb. 20 review. He gave Smashburger four stars. “Good gluten free bun not too dry. Smash fries and chocolate shake are all good.”
- B. Sport Burgers - 176 N. Adams. Yelp reviewers give the restaurant 3.5 stars overall. Many tend to rave about its pickle bar. “Sliders were good and I LOVED the Pickle Bar - I'm a huge fan of pickles so I tried the Tony Packos sweet and sour pickles, the normal garlic pickles, and the pickled onion,” wrote Liz P. in an Aug. 12, 2016 review. She gave B. Spot Burgers four stars. “There are sauces at the table for your burger too, and both the coffee BBQ sauce and the Ballpark mustard were great.”
- CJ Mahoney’s - 3260 S. Rochester Road. Rated at four out of five stars overall, people seem to really like the restaurant or, well, not so much. Alex M. of Auburn Hills was in the first camp with Nov. 21, 2016 review. “Came here with my dad after seeing how full the parking lot gets at night,” he wrote. “We both ordered burgers and thought they were pretty good. Loved the seasoned fries. I originally wanted a turkey burger but they did not have any. Great service and great décor.”
