Two Teenage Boys Suspected Of Shoplifting At Macy's: Police

Troy police say a 15-year-old Rochester Hills boy and a 15-year-old Troy boy were released into the custody of their mothers.

TROY, MI — A teenage boy from Rochester Hills has been busted for shoplifting, according to a police report.

The alleged theft happened at Macy’s Department Store on 500 W. Fourteen Mile Rd. on Jan. 19 at 4:09 p.m. Troy police say that the 15-year-old Rochester Hills resident, along with a 15-year-old Troy male, walked into Macy's and reportedly tried stealing $90 and $60 worth of merchandise before being stopped by Loss Prevention.

The suspects were charged with Retail Fraud – 3rd Degree and released into the custody of their mothers, who both signed the Oakland County Juvenile Petition Form agreeing to bring them to juvenile court upon notice.
