Where To See Santa In Oakland County This Christmas Season

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Oakland County families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Oakland County, kids have several chances:

• Great Lakes Crossing Outlets,4000 Baldwin Rd, from Nov. 16 through Christmas Eve, Auburn Hills
• Downtown Birmingham, 320 Martin St, Nov. 25 at 9:30 a.m., Birmingham
• Longacre House, 24705 Farmington Rd, Wednesday, Nov. 29 and Thursday, Nov. 30 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., Farmington Hills
• Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens, 480 South Adams Rd, Saturday, Dec. 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Rochester
• Somerset Collection, 2800 West Big Beaver Road, from Nov. 18 – Dec. 23, Troy
• Troy Historic Village, 60 West Wattles Road, Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Troy

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa is coming to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores on Black Friday, which is Nov. 24 this year. In metro Detroit, see Santa at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi and the Somerset Collection and Troy marketplace in Troy.

JC Penney stores, including stores in metro Detroit, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
