Join the Royal Oak Nature Society's botanist and photographer Don Drife on Monday, July 15 in Room 1 at the Royal Oak Senior/Community Center (on Marais) for an evening of basic photographic instruction, an introduction to Nature Photography, and an opportunity to learn by actually taking pictures in the Arboretum behind the Senior Center. Bring your camera and its manual, and learn about things like shutter speed, aperture, depth of field, and why understanding them can help you take better pictures. The session will last from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
