Congratulations to Royal Oak's Retiring Teachers, Staff

The end of the school year always brings change. Some students move on to new schools, some graduate and head into the workplace or go on to college.

And for some teachers and staff members, it marks an end to a career that has touched thousands of lives.

This year, the Royal Oak School District will see seven retiring teachers, a psychologist, a paraprofessional  and the director custodial & transportation begin new chapters in their lives. They are:

Bonnie Attan, Oak Ridge Elementary, academic support

Noreen Chapin, Keller Elementary, third grade

Frances R. Darnell, Oak Ridge Elementary, first grade

Charles Gosdzinski, Royal Oak High School, industrial arts

Karen Keutgen, Royal Oak High School, health

Stephan Lawson, Northwood Elementary, third grade

Deborah Pawlowski, Keller Elementary, fifth grade

Jeanne Baker, Royal Oak High School, psychologist

Art Watsin, director custodial & transportation 

Clarice Zuger, paraprofessional
