Drag Queens Unite in Royal Oak for Charity

Proceeds benefit Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit.

Five15 Media, Mojo, & More, the hosts of “Drag Queen Bingo,” are proud to produce a summer Equality for a Cause entertainment event, “Greetings from the United Drags of America,” upstairs at Fifth Avenue Royal Oak on July 17 at 7:30 p.m. 

Hosted by September Murphy, “Greetings from the United Drags of America” showcases illusions by Hershae Chocolatae, Aurora Sexton, Denise Russell, Christina Cruz, and Leah Halston The show takes place at Fifth Avenue located at 215 Fifth Avenue, Royal Oak, MI 48067. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. show time. 

A follow-up show to 2012 holiday season’s wildly successful charity event for the Ruth Ellis House “The 12 Drags of Christmas,” Five15 owner Gary Baglio is enthusiastic this benefit, “This event features a movie magic theme, where ‘12 Drags’ was music themed...you’ll see a lot of your favorite stars through the years.” 

Proceeds from this event benefit Gilda’s Club of Metro Detroit. Presale tickets are available now at www.UnitedDrags.com and www .Five15.net Tickets begin at $25 each for standing room only, with $50 general admission seating and $100 VIP preferred seating (both of the latter including 50 percent off dinner before or after the show) also available. Tickets will not be available at the door.
