Experience Nature In Royal Oak At This Free Event

Spend your morning with a local naturalist, exploring a park in Royal Oak Sept. 29.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Join an Oakland County Parks and Recreation naturalist between 10 a.m. and noon Saturday, Sept. 29 in Starr Jaycee Park in Royal Oak for a free interactive drop-in nature experience. A naturalist will be on site to visit with park patrons and talk about Michigan wildlife using pelts, taxidermy and a live animal.

Starr Jaycee Park is located on 13 Mile Road east of Crooks Road in Royal Oak.

As part of the Nature in Your Neighborhood series, this pop-up nature program is a new initiative of Oakland County Parks and Recreation to provide free naturalist services to local communities that do not have their own nature interpretive services.
