Get A First Look At Plans For Royal Oak's New Downtown Park
Here's how to find out what the city's newest green space will be like.

ROYAL OAK, MI — The community will get its first look at Royal Oak’s downtown park Wednesday at the the Downtown Park Task Force meeting. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 inside room 315 at city hall, where residents can see the results of months of public engagement on the plans, officials say.
The new two-acre park will offer a community green space after the old city hall and police station are demolished. Construction is already underway on a new two-story, more advanced Royal Oak City Hall and construction for the new police station is tentatively scheduled to begin in January, city officials have said.
