Motel Guest Arrested, Thieves Take Snow Blower, Appliance Dollies and More

Highlights from Royal Oak Police Department reports from the past week:

Snow blower and more taken from garage 

600 block of S. Vermont , June June 13: A woman reported someone broke out a window on the north side of the garage and stole a Toro snow thrower, Echo leaf blower, Craftsman tool set, Black & Decker air compressor and a floor jack from her garage.

Items taken from cars

2800 block of Woodslee, June June 13: A man reported someone stole an Apple iPod from his unlocked vehicle. 

2020 Bellaire (O’Sullivan Moving Company), June 11: A man reported someone stole two red appliance dollies and approximately 100 moving pads.

3600 block of Hunter, June 10: A woman reported someone siphoned gasoline from her vehicle.

Eyeglasses, computer and more stolen

3535 W. 13 Mile (Complete Eye Care), June 7: Staff reported someone stole two pair of glasses from a display case.

S. Main and E. Second, June 10: A man reported someone stole his blue Rock Canyon mountain bike he left unlocked and unattended on the corner.

200 block of W. Parent, June June 10: A man reported an acquaintance stole his HP laptop computer. 

526 S. Main (Tequila Blue), June 7: A man reported someone stole his wallet.

3601 W. 13 Mile ( William Beaumont Hospital ), June 12: A man reported someone stole an undisclosed amount of currency from his room.

Acts of vandalism

200 S. Center (Parking Structure), June 9: Royal Oak Officers arrested someone for breaking out a glass door at the parking structure.

Third Street & Center Street , June 9: A woman reported someone jumped on the hood of her parked vehicle and dented the hood. 

Motel guest arrested

28300 Woodward (Seville Motel), June 12: Royal Oak Officers conducted a motel check and arrested an individual with an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.
