Royal Oak Farmers Market Offers Free Valet for Patrons

The Farmers Market parking lot closes this week. Here's what's being offered to ease the closure.

ROYAL OAK, MI — The Royal Oak Farmers Market is offering a new alternative to customers who want to “shop till they drop.” The Farmers Market now offers free valet, large strolling shopping baskets and volunteers to assist with curbside loading.

“The Royal Oak Farmers Market is the longest running Farmers Market in Oakland County, and it’s the only Market in Oakland County open year-round,” said Royal Oak Farmers Market Manager Shelly Mazur. “The Market is a weekend ritual for people throughout the metro Detroit area and we hope these new initiatives will make it easier for them to stock up during the winter months.”

Valet pick up is in the west lot, accessible from the new 11 Mile entrance. Large strolling shopping baskets can be stored on the west porch until customers are ready to leave and volunteers will be available to assist customers with curbside loading and unloading.
