On June 27, Red Run Golf Club on Rochester Road at 12 Mile Road continues its tradition of celebrating Independence Day with a fireworks show to see far and wide. Those who are not members set up around the club's golf course for the best viewing spot. Area parks, backyards, decks and sidewalks are spots of choice.
Or show up with your blanket at the Central Church, located at 2005 Rochester Rd., at 9 p.m. for prime seating and complimentary watermelon, popcorn and water.
