Royal Oak Man Wins Keepsake at 60th Reunion

Celebrating the American Bald Eagle’s return to Clark County, OH and the return of fellow classmates from old Springfield High School Class of 1953, the reunion steering committee offered a raffle to give some lucky person a keepsake souvenir of their 60th reunion. 

Jerry L. Burden, now of Royal Oak, was presented the American Bald Eagle Souvenir from Marianne Ludlow Nave during the Saturday night festivities.

The class held its anniversary reunion celebration on July 26 and 27 at The Courtyard by Marriott - Springfield Downtown, according to Reunion Chair Geraldine Jacoby Stafford and Co-Chair H. Philip Barber. A booklet of SHS Class of 1953 activities covering years 2008 thru 2013 is available for those who did not attend the reunion for a donation of $10 to the class treasury.
