Royal Oak Police Weekly Crime Report

On the blotter: Smashed vehicle windows and stolen wheel covers.

ROYAL OAK, MI A brazen car thief stole an unlocked 1998 Chevrolet out of a Royal Oak man's driveway in the 4100 block of Greenway on Nov. 12 between 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Police are investigating the crime.

212 W. Sixth St. (Oak City Grille), 11-12-16, 12:15 a.m.: Complainant reported a female customer amongst a large group left the location after failing to pay her tab.

500 block of Jeffrey Ave. 10-17-16, 3:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) removed a USPS package from his porch, which contained a new I-Phone.

Larceny from an Automobile

1100 block of S. Washington Ave., 11-12-16, 12:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole the wheel covers off her parked 2012 GMC.

Malicious Destruction of Property

2000 block of N. Vermont Ave. 11-13-16, 12:15 a.m. - 3:30 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the exterior kitchen window of her residence with an unknown item.

Sixth St. at Main St., 11-15-16, 6:45 p.m. - 7:25 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the rear window of his parked 2016 Jeep.

200 block of Englewood Ave. 11-15-16 – 11-16-16, 11:00 p.m.- 10:30 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the rear window of her 2008 BMW while it was parked in her driveway.
