Thieves Target Car Navigation Systems At Beaumont Hospital
Dodge vehicles parked at the hospital were broken into, Royal Oak Police reports stated.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Thieves recently broke into two parked vehicles at Beaumont Hospital and failed at a getting into a third, according to Royal Oak Police Department reports. In-dash navigation systems were the targets in both incidents, which involved a pair of Dodge vehicles.
The attempted break-in was also a Dodge vehicle. Reports said all three incidents occurred on Sept. 7 between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. The navigation systems were the only items reported stolen.

- 1700 block of Gardenia Ave., 9-6-17 – 9-7-17, 8:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknowns suspect(s) stole all four rims and tires off his 2017 Lincoln.
- 3000 block of Elmhurst Ave., 9-6-17 – 9-7-17, 7:30 p.m. – 7:45 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) had removed the catalytic converter from her 2005 Chevrolet.
- 3000 block of Elmhurst Ave., 9-6-17 – 9-7-17, 11:45 p.m. – 7:45 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) had removed the catalytic converter from is 2004 Chevrolet.

1900 block of E. Ten Mile Rd., 9-13-17, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) had pried and kicked in the front entry door of the residence and stole a Samsung television, a handgun, cash, laptop computer, and an iPad.

- 600 block of Fairway Dr., 9-10-17, 8:00 a.m. – 11:46 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a wooden bench from the front of her residence.
- 400 S. Washington Ave. (Trico Salon), 9-12-17, 7:05 p.m. – 7:48 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole her iPhone from the business.
Malicious Destruction of Property
- Northwood Blvd. & Woodward Ave., 9-10-17, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) damaged the driver’s side door of his parked 2005 Chevrolet.
- 29428 Woodward Ave., (American Cycle & Fitness), 9-11-17 – 9-12-17, 8:00 p.m. – 8:15 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) used a BB gun to shoot and damage the 2015 Dodge business vehicle.
- 100 block of Allenhurst Ave., 9-3-17 – 9-4-17, 11:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) keyed the exterior of her 2016 GMC.
