Marc Center figures he's been teaching kids how to build water rockets for at least a decade.
Center, who coaches the robotics team at Royal Oak High School, and his son Paul helped a dozen kids assemble and launch water and air powered rockets on the library lawn on Wednesday.
The water rocket class is just one of many programs offered by the Royal Oak Public Library this summer.
"I figure if I can get these kids going on science that maybe they'll join the robotics class when they get to high school," Center said.
