Xfinity Work Van Stolen Off The Street While Cable Contractor Works In A Royal Oak Home.

ROYAL OAK, MI — An Xfinity cable contractor was working in a home in the 1000 block of N. Sherman Dr. When he went outside, he discovered his 2005 Chevrolet Savana "Xfinity" work van that he had parked on the street was stolen. The theft happened on Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m.

1000 block of N. Sherman Dr., 11-5-16, 3:30 p.m.: Complainant reported he was in a home in the area as a cable contractor and reports an unknown suspect(s) stole the 2005 Chevrolet Savana ”Xfinity” work van he had parked on the street.

Larceny from an Automobile

3300 block of Rochester RD. 11-3-16, 4:18 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered her 2012 Chevrolet and stole an IPad Pro from the vehicle.

1719 W. Fourteen Mile Rd. (Metro PCS) 11-4-16, 6:30 p.m.: Complainant reported returning to her parked and unlocked vehicle to discover an unknown suspect(s) had stolen her purse and wallet.

Malicious Destruction of Property

300 block of N. Troy St. 11-4-16 – 11-5-16, 5:30 p.m.- 9:10 p.m.: Complainant reported returning to her parked vehicle and discovering an unknown suspect(s) had damaged the exterior vehicle mirrors.

595 E. Thirteen Mile Rd. (Fitness 19), 11-6-16, 9:00 a.m.: Complainant reported returning to his parked 2016 Jeep to discover an unknown suspect(s) had keyed the driver’s side of the vehicle.

200 block of Baldwin Ave. 11-5-16 – 11-6-16, 11:00 p.m.– 3:40 p.m.: Complainant reported returning to her parked 2013 Honda to discover an unknown suspect(s) had smashed the front driver’s side window of the vehicle.

Larceny

3900 block of Devon Rd. 11-7-16, 9:00 a.m. – 9:50 p.m.: Complainant reported her handgun was stolen from her home by an unknown suspect(s).

1000 block of Mclean Ave. 11-4-16 – 11-5-16, 7:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a political support sign from his lawn.

3601 W. Thirteen Mile Rd. (Beaumont Hospital), 11-8-16, 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a purse containing credit cards from the complainant’s office at the hospital.
