1. Feeling folk music? The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts presents “The Gordon Lightfoot Tribute” on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. Tickets: $43.

2. Hey comic book fans! Check out the comic book/pop culture show, Fantasticon, at the Gibraltar Trade Center on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (237 N. River Rd., Mt. Clemens)

3. In the mood for some Detroit history? Hit up a screening of the documentary "Made In the Motor City" by filmmaker Bill Kubota on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Detroit Historical Museum at 3 p.m. For an extra dose of Detroit, check out the author meet and greet before the show (12 p.m. - 3 p.m.) with writers who have penned books about Detroit made-products.

4. Take your holiday craft game to the next level at Home Depot's free DIY Holiday Centerpiece workshop. Learn how to use a circular saw, brad nailer and tools of the trade to create a holly jolly centerpiece. Sunday, Nov. 13 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m at Home Depot (20500 13 Mile Rd., Roseville). 5. Want to add some awesome to your weekend? The Detroit Institute of Arts hosts the Detroit Institute of Awesome on the weekends for kiddos and adults to have museum family fun.
