Hit up a screening of the documentary "Made In the Motor City" by filmmaker Bill Kubota on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Detroit Historical Museum at 3 p.m. For an extra dose of Detroit, check out the author meet and greet before the show (12 p.m. - 3 p.m.) with writers who have penned books about Detroit made-products.

4. Take your holiday craft game to the next level at Home Depot's free DIY Holiday Centerpiece workshop.
