Cause of St. Clair House Fire May Have Been an Electrical Problem
An investigation is under way and at this time the fire appears to have been electrical.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — The St. Clair Shores Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 22000 block of Lake Dr. on Nov. 26 at 6:13 p.m, according to a news release.
Responding firefighters discovered heavy smoke and fire in the first floor of the residence. They extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading, but the first floor and basement sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.
No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no fire or civilian injuries reported. However, one pet hamster and one pet Gecko perished in the fire.
