Lakeview Swim Team Splits Pair

boys swimming team experienced the good and the bad Tuesday, losing to Marysville 128-52 and defeating University Liggett 95-72.

Against Marysville, Emmanuel Jianis was the lone victor for Lakeview. Jianis took the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:39.74.

Against Liggett, Jianis won two events. In addition to the 200 IM, Jianis won the 10 butterfly with a time of 1:12.76.

Jianis also teamed with Ethan Ottoy, Frank Woo and Ricky Kennedy to prevail in the 200 medley relay in 2:10.49.

Lakeview’s Frank Woo took the 50 freestyle in 28.83 seconds, and Ottoy captured the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.50.
