Man Charged In The Death of His Macomb County Girlfriend

MT. CLEMENS, MI — A 37-year-old man has been charged in the death of his girlfriend, according to a Macomb County Sheriff's Office press release.
Jeremiah James Boshell, of Columbiaville, was arraigned in the 42-2 District Court of New Baltimore on Dec. 19 and is being held without bond. Boshell has been charged in the homicide of 38-year-old Lisa Fabbri, and he faces charges of murder in the first degree - premeditated, assault on a pregnant individual - intentionally causing a miscarriage and two counts of felony firearm.
The case dates back to Aug. 16. At 8:15 a.m., a man in the 60000 block of Frost Rd. in Lenox Township called 9-1-1 to report a deceased woman in a vehicle parked on his property.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the scene and discovered Fabbri, of Macomb Township, dead in her Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Through conversations with witnesses and family members, Sheriff detectives identified Fabbri's boyfriend, Boshell, as a suspect.

Deputies issued a BOLO ("be-on-the-lookout") for Boshell, and he was spotted at 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 16 near the Pioneer Transmission Shop on Lake Nepessing Rd. by Sheriff detectives in unmarked cars. They tailed Boshell and radioed for assistance. Boshell reportedly fired a shot at the detectives and at a pedestrian in the area. No one was hit.
A chase began, with unmarked detectives, the Michigan State Police and Lapeer County Sheriff’s Office officers in hot pursuit of Boshell. The chase ended when Boshell crashed on eastbound I-69 near Wilder Rd. and he was taken into custody.
Boshell's next court date is Jan. 4, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
