'Oh Thank 7-Eleven' and Go Get a Free Slurpee Today

To kick off the summer season, 7-Eleven is offering customers a free 7.11 ounce Slurpee today.

The convenience store chain will host SlurpFREE Day between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23.

The free treat giveaway coincides with 7-Eleven's release of the new Slurpee Lite Fanta flavors, which have 50 percent fewer calories. The first flavor is Sugar-free Mango.

The Slurpee is 7-Eleven's popular frozen (and trademarked) drink that comes in dozens of flavors.

But one warning if you want an icy treat: all of the stores Patch contacted said to arrive early before limited supplies of the Slurpees run out.
