Popular Metro Detroit Brewery Closing Down Taproom This Week
Company officials did not exactly say why the brewery is closing down, but did note its expiring lease in Macomb County.
ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A popular metro Detroit brewery is closing down its St. Clair Shores taproom this week.
Dragon’s Landing Brew Pub, along Jefferson Avenue in St. Clair Shores is shutting down Sunday, March 24, according to company officials.
Company officials did not exactly say why the brewery is closing down, but did note its expiring lease.

"It has been the most difficult decision we have had to make as a company but as our lease renewal approaches at the end of March, we realized it would be irresponsible for the company as a whole to continue operations at Dragons Landing," company officials said in a social media post.
"We would like to use this opportunity to thank our incredible staff, friends, and customers for the four fun years and are honored to have been part of the St. Clair Shores community," company officials added in the post. "We hope to see you for the last days of Dragon's Landing and hope you will continue to visit us at Dragonmead Brewery."

The original Dragonmead Brewery location in Warren has been in operation for 26 years and will remain open, according to company officials.
