St. Clair Shores Election Highlights

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — At this point, nearly every person in the galaxy is aware that Donald Trump was elected President. But what about the rest of the election results in your town? Here are a couple St. Clair Shores election highlights:

1. The people of Macomb county were overwhelmingly against the Regional Transit Authority millage, which would have paved the way for mass transit. 222,806 voted "no" and just 148,159 voted "yes."

2. The two new Macomb Community College Board of Trustees are: Katherine Lorenzo and Kristi Dean.

3. There are three new school board members for the L'Anse Creuse Public Schools: Mary Hilton, Terri Spencer and Sharon Ross. And two new school board members for Lake Shore Public Schools: Shannon Ketelhut and Joshua Denzler.
