Things To Do With Your Kids During Thanksgiving Vacation
If Black Friday isn't your thing, here are some activities you can do as a family in and around St. Clair Shores.

Once the tryptophan wears off from the Thanksgiving turkey, the kids will need a distraction. Here are seven activities you can enjoy as a family, or as a means to gain a few extra hours of kid-less holiday shopping.
1. Movies
Catch a kid-friendly film like Life of Pi or Rise of the Guardians at MJR Partridge Creek or AMC Star Gratiot 21.

2. Ice skating
Need to work off some pumpkin pie? Civic Arena hosts open skate from 3-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Just remember to bring your own ice skates.

3. Block party
There will be a LEGO Block Party at the Library starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
4. Roller Skating
Sports Forum in Clinton Township offers family skates on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
6. Bowling
STRIKE! Polish up on your bowling skills with open bowling at Harbor Lanes Bowling Center, Lakeshore Lanes or Shore Lanes.
7. Laser Tag
Who doesn't want a chance to shoot a laser at one's sibling or parent? Laser Edge in Clinton Township is open six days a week and features an arcade.
