• Police officer, resident rescue man trapped in Oscoda Township fire (abc12.com) — A man seriously injured in an Oscoda Township house fire was rushed to MyMichigan Medical Center in Tawas City, while another resident also sought treatment at the local hospital. Police say a township officer and another occupant pulled the trapped man from the burning home before firefighters arrived, and investigators are still working to determine how the blaze started.
