Dennis Reames, 69 – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Three Rivers is saying goodbye to Dennis John Reames, 69, a lifelong resident who passed away December 10 after an eleven‑month battle with cancer. A devoted family man and longtime AEP lineman, he was deeply involved in local youth sports and outdoor activities. Friends and neighbors can attend his Celebration of Life on December 18 at Ray Funeral Services in Three Rivers.

Linda Murray, 74 – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Friends and family in the Three Rivers area are being served by Ray Funeral Services on Rock River Avenue as they honor the life of 74-year-old Linda Louise Murray. The longtime nurse and nature lover leaves behind children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings, with cremation completed and burial in Marcellus to be scheduled later.

Sandra Daugherty, 71 – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Three Rivers is mourning longtime resident Sandra Kay Daugherty, 71, who passed away at her home on December 14 after a life rooted in the community. A Three Rivers High School graduate and former Three Rivers Hospital employee, she later managed Wendy’s before retiring. Her family will honor her with a private service and burial in Marcellus.

Latvian Song & Dance Festival coming to Grand Rapids-Local Spins (localspins.com) — Three Rivers gets a notable shoutout as home to Garezers, the largest Latvian camp in North America, while Grand Rapids prepares to host the 2026 Latvian Song & Dance Festival. Thousands of visitors, hundreds of performers, and multiple downtown venues are planned, with tickets already on sale and several events free to attend.
