Police Fatally Shoot Armed Man At Wayne County Apartment Complex: MSP
Officers encountered the man who was connected to a shooting that happened earlier in the morning in a neighboring city, police said.
TRENTON, MI — Officers fatally shot and killed an armed man Wednesday morning at a downriver apartment complex, according to police.
The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Bristol Hills Apartment complex, which is located along Van Horn Road in Trenton, according to police.
Trenton officers were notified about a shooting that happened in Inkster around 2 a.m. Wednesday. They were told to be on the lookout for a 2022 Gray Ford Edge, according to police.

Officers found the car roughly an hour later at the apartment complex and encountered the 37-year-old armed man, according to police.
That's when police said officers fatally shot the man. No officers were injured in the incident, according to police.

Police did not release any other details, but they did say there is no active threat to the community.
It was unclear if the shooting in Inkster was fatal.
Police were still investigating the shooting.
