Wayne County Deli/Market Closing For Good After Nearly 20 Years
The owner is stepping into retirement and the market will close at the end of the year.
RIVERVIEW, MI — A popular downriver deli and meat market is closing down for good at the end of the year after nearly 20 years.
Carlo and Joe’s, located on King Road near Grange in Riverview, announced Wednesday its last day will be Dec. 28.
"As we step into retirement, we do so with immense gratitude for every person that has walked through our store," a sign posted to the door reads.

The market is best-known for a wide variety of meats, such as certified Angus, chicken and pork, as well as different types of bread and bakery items. They also have Dearborn spiral-sliced hams and Dearborn smoked and holiday kielbasa.
