2 Snowplow Trucks Stolen From Troy Parking Lot: Police

Police said the vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside.

TROY, MI — Two snowplow trucks were stolen from a Troy parking lot last month, according to police.

The vehicle thefts happened sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 1:10 a.m. on Nov. 29 at a business located at 396 John R Road, according to police.

The employees left multiple snow removal vehicles parked in the lot in preparation for an upcoming snowfall, according to police.

The vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside, according to police.

When the employees arrived the next day, they found a 2005 GMC Sierra and a 2002 Ford F-250, both of which that were equipped with snowplows, missing, according to police.

Officers found the Ford F-250 several days later in Detroit, according to police.
