5 Fun Things to do With Snow Today

It sure , but there's finally some snow on the ground in Troy – and just in time for the weekend!

Here are five fun things you and your family can do with the snow today:

1. Make snow ice cream. This is very easy to do and only takes a few minutes to make. You'll need half and half (or sweetened condensed milk), vanilla, sugar and mini chocolate chips in addition to about a gallon of fresh, clean (not yellow!) snow. 3. Paint with snow. Mix powdered paint with snow, then have the kids arrange small amounts of snow on a piece of paper. When it melts, they'll have a beautiful design.
4. Spray paint the snow. Mix water with food coloring in a spray bottle, then head outside to spray paint the snow! If you want to make more elaborate designs, check out this environmentally-friendly snow paint.
5. Design a birdseed snow angel. After making a snow angel, sprinkle the seeds into the snow angel pattern. If you want to get fancy, you can use different types of seeds and corn and grains to create a more elaborate design.
