Bus Stop Weather Report: Icy Cold with Possible Subzero Wind Chills

You'll want to bundle up the kids Tuesday morning as wind chill values are expected to hover around zero degrees.

Tuesday morning at the bus stop will be cold, cold, cold as an arctic air mass settles over southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

Weather Underground, an internet-based real-time weather service, predicts the temperature at 7 a.m. in Troy will be a balmy 14 degrees.

In addition, the National Weather Service is predicting winds from 9-15 m.p.h. Tuesday, which will bring wind chill values in the morning down to around zero degrees. Wind gusts as high as 22 m.p.h. are possible.

Wednesday will be warmer and slightly less windy with a high near 32 and a low around 25.
