Free Tax Assistance This Week for Troy Seniors
Help for low-to-moderate income seniors can be found at the Troy Community Center this week.

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers, trained in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, will help low to moderate income seniors prepare tax forms at the Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois, Troy) this Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Those who are homebound are encouraged to ask a friend or relative to make an appointment to bring in the information, according to a press release from the City of Troy. Telephone assistance is not available for income tax return preparation.
No walk-ins will be accepted, but classes will take place each Friday through April 12. Appointments can be made by calling (248) 526-2608.
