VIDEO: Hamilton Elementary Students Jump Rope, Raise $2,500 for Heart Health
Money raised through Jump Rope for Heart will benefit the American Heart Association.
On Tuesday, fourth-grade students at Hamilton Elementary School enjoyed a longer-than-normal gym period as they hopped, skipped, jumped and cartwheeled to raise money for the American Heart Association.
Hamilton students in first through fifth grade created online profiles on the American Heart Association website in order to receive donations, said Physical Education teacher Chad Gurzick.
So far, the group has raised roughly $2,500, though Gurzick said that number will likely continue to grow.
