It's Time to Harvest Maple Syrup: This Weekend in Troy
'Maple Syrup Time: Past and Present' is a program featuring staff and volunteers from the Troy Nature Center and the Troy Historic Village.

- Where: Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center (6685 Coolidge Hwy., Troy)
- Cost:Â $7 (TNS/THS member price: $6)
- Why Go:  Learn how people from Native Americans to 21st Century tech-savvy-sap-tappers have harvested it to make maple syrup and taste fresh syrup over warm mini-waffles. Hike through sugar bush to see how sap is collected and discover how maple trees make sugar. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Register at troynaturesociety.org or call (248) 688-9703.
