Paczki Sell Like Hotcakes at American Polish Cultural Center
One staff member estimates it will sell around 10,000 of the sweet, traditional Polish treats Monday and Fat Tuesday.
Staff and volunteers at the American Polish Cultural Center were busy Monday afternoon boxing up dozens — and dozens and dozens — of paczki for hungry patrons.
All in all, the center will sell about 10,000 paczki Monday and Tuesday, according to staff member Sarah Maruszczak. The traditional Polish treats are delivered to the center by a bakery, though staff members declined to divulge its name.
To get your paczki, visit the center Monday until 8 p.m. and Tuesday starting at 6 a.m.
